Babies Galore.
I know so many people who are getting ready to have babies. My best friend from home, Janie, is due on December 21st and she’s having a boy. Our friend, Steph, is due December 3rd and could pop anytime now. She’s getting a surprise on the sex of the baby. Yesterday, I went to a baby shower for our friend, Kim, and she’s due in February and having a boy also. But, like 5 people at the shower yesterday were also pregnant. I’m also reading a book right now called Little Earthquakes, about 4 women who have just had babies. Tons of babies everywhere! It much be the age or something.
Anyway, the shower yesterday was so beautiful. She got a ton of gifts and great things for the new little boy to be. Furniture, swings, clothes, blankets, bottles, anything you can imagine. I cannot believe how MUCH stuff a baby needs! It’s crazy. We had a luncheon at the Chart House which overlooks the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline. It was a clear blue day and absolutely beautiful. We had yummy food and chocolate lava cake for dessert. I scraped my plate clean on that one. It took most of the afternoon, but I was happy to be surround by friends and happiness. I am really looking forward to meeting the new baby.
Lauren & Mark got married on November 7th, 2009. It was an amazing day and Lauren looked so beautiful. I was the MOH and took my duties very seriously! ;)
Check out some of their pictures curteousy of Rich Chapman, her photographer. Such a gorgeous bride!

My best friend, Lauren, got married this weekend. I’ll have an update and more pictures about the wedding to come. She’s beautiful!
Very cool experience. I’d do it again.
Happy Birthday to me! I’m 28 today. I have been on this earth for 28 years, that seems like such a long time. Honestly, I sometimes still feel like I’m 12 and not old enough to be acting like a grown-up.
My gift from Ryan was a trip to Brasil. Very nice gift.
Here we are pictured having dinner at the Santa Teresa Hotel. Amazing, trendy place. It could have easily been transported into the middle of NYC.
Long Island Fun.Randoms.

Ryan and Nick do their senior poses on the lawn at Duckwalk.

Alex is jammin’ to his super secret new favorite song.

Dave entertained us with his guitar skills both nights by the fire, Steve is not really helping him play any better.

Scott with the dog Spike or Pincher or Pup. The dog was fake and somehow moved from it’s post guarding the steps, down to the fire with us and back up to guarding the steps all in one night. Pretty interesting.
Long Island Fun.The Wineries.

Steve, Liz & Nick smell and taste our first tasting at Waters Crest Winery.

The group at Waters Crest, our first stop.

Alex & Dave model with the wine barrels.

Scott, Me & Becky. Scott is quite intense with his smelling.

Picnic at MaCari Vineyards. Yum!

Our weekend planner, Tina & the grapes at Duckwalk Vineyards.

Long Island Fun.The Ride.

Our fancy ride around Long Island. On our way to Waters Crest.

Max, the Limo, at the end of the day. I think we’re listening to Alex’s super secret new favorite song and the football is in play. Check out those lights. This was a crazy awesome ride. :)
Long Island Fun.The Lodging.

Our beautiful house that slept 16, we filled it to 12. That’s pretty good.

The view early Saturday morning before heading to the wineries at 10:30. Dave & Nick are in the Kayaks.

The fire pit/beach area. This was taken Saturday night after the wine tour, but we used this both nights into the wee hours of the morning. Nothing gets Fall started like a good sit around a fire.

The amazing horizon on Sunday morning before leaving. It was just breathtaking and the weather was perfect for sun bathing. I could wake up to this every morning.
We’re headed here tonight! Rio De Janeiro, Brasil…so amazing, so exciting, so nervous! Can’t wait for an excellent trip!
