Quick Recap.
We spent our weekend at in Atlantic City staying free at the Borgata. We had a nice room to ourselves, with a view of the water. We arrived late on Friday evening because we stopped in Long Branch for dinner at Avenue. It was located right on the beach and a good choice for tasty food.
Once we arrived in AC, Joe & Ryan hit the Black Jack tables, Keri headed to the slot machines and I watched the boys play. They did really well that night. Saturday we grabbed breakfast at the buffet and then headed to the Outlets for some shopping. I am quite happy with my purchases and am only a tiny bit regretful that I left a hot pair of purple heels behind. We can’t have everything. ;)
Saturday evening we started with dinner at Old Homestead Steakhouse, which gave all of us a food coma for the rest of the evening. We then hung out at the bar with friends and roamed the casino floor alternating between Craps & Black Jack. After calling it a night a little later than normal, we woke Sunday morning tired and hungry. Grabbed some breakfast at The Metropolitan and headed home.
It was also a good weekend for our football teams…Notre Dame won, Indiana almost beat Michigan, the Colts & Bears both won even though the Rams didn’t. Sorry Dad! And, although, the St. Louis Cardinals are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, they still lost to the Rockies. We’ll take a loss over injuries though. Looking forward to post-season baseball!!!
